Greetings Los Coyotes Families!

Welcome back to our returning families and a warm welcome to our new families for the 2018-2019 school year!  I am excited to serve as your Los Coyotes Parent-Teacher-Student-Organization (PTSO) President and together with our Board and Committee Chairs, we are looking forward to another amazing year!

Our Los Coyotes PTSO is a volunteer organization to support our students, teachers, staff and community.  Through our collective efforts, our students benefit with amazing assemblies, book fairs, class field trips, Kindness Challenge Week, Red Ribbon Week, Santa Shop, and so much more.  Los Coyotes PTSO has also provided technological and equipment upgrades both inside and outside the classroom, including smart boards, chrome books, backpack hooks and our electronic marquee.

So how does all of this happen?  Along with our enthusiastic Board and Committee Chairs, our success is due to YOU... our Los Coyotes families!  Your involvement and support is the KEY ingredient to a memorable school year for our children!  You can get involved with Los Coyotes PTSO by:

  • Staying informed of upcoming events by checking out our PTSO link under the "Students and Parents" tab on our Los Coyotes webpage,
  • Attending our monthly PTSO meetings (generally the second Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 pm in the MPR – please check the website for specific dates),
  • Volunteering! Whether as a room parent or assisting at our Book Fairs or Santa Shop, there are many ways to support our wonderful school!

Feel free to contact me at with any questions or ideas – together let’s make a difference for our children!

Warmest Regards,

Cathy Imai
